Attorney Trendowski founded the Firm in 1996 after many years of personal injury work with other firms.  He was soon joined by Greg Allen, and together they built our Firm as it is today.  He has tried over 150 jury trials to verdict and has represented clients in literally thousands of cases over his 31 years of practice.  Aside from his jury trials, Attorney Trendowski has represented clients in countless other proceedings, including arbitrations, appeals, and administrative hearings.  While many of his current trials involve personal injuries resulting from assaults and auto collisions, he has handled a variety of cases over the years, including medical malpractice and civil rights matters.  He is currently licensed to practice law in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts.

Attorney Trendowski had a varied and distinguished career as a trial attorney prior to establishing our Firm, working as a trial attorney for Bai, Pollock, and Dunnigan, the CNA Insurance Companies, and the Sentry Insurance Group. He currently restricts his practice to personal injury matters, both on the trial and appellate levels.

In addition to being an active member of the legal community, Jan has been the Legal Director for the national Bikers Against Animal Cruelty for several years.  The B.A.A.C. is a wholly volunteer organization devoted to helping injured and abused animals of all kinds.  With the assistance of B.A.A.C. and Brian Phelps of Toad's Place, he helped to organize the annual Woofstock fundraiser in New Haven which pays vet bills for injured animals all around the country.   He enjoys working in his garage and building motorcycle engines.  He and his wife Liz reside in East Haddam, CT and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida with 9 rescue dogs aged 4 through 15.
