Jan Trendowski, the Firm's founding partner, is a highly skilled and experienced litigator concentrating on personal injury, liquor liability, and insurance coverage disputes.  Known as one of the few experts in Connecticut liquor law, he represents clients before the Department of Consumer Protection, Liquor Control Division in licensing matters and regulatory hearings and lectures nationally on the topic of liquor liability.  Jan is the author and publisher of  the Connecticut Liquor Handbook for Connecticut Permittees, a comprehensive but easy-to-use reference guide for Connecticut permittees to the liquor laws in Connecticut.

Greg Allen, the Firm's managing partner, is also a highly skilled and experienced litigator concentrating on family law, personal injury, liquor liability, probate and real estate.  His litigation experience includes arbitrating, mediating and trying civil and family disputes.  Greg also practices before the state probate courts handling estate, conservator, guardian and children's matters.

Kevin Kratzer, a senior associate with the Firm, concentrates his practice on criminal defense, personal injury defense, liquor liability defense, foreclosure actions, and debt collection.

Karen Poirier , who joined the Firm in 2010, concentrates on  family law, personal injury litigation, and debt collection.  She also handles landlord tenant, real estate transactions, wills and probate.  Prior to joining the Firm, Karen clerked in the Tolland Superior Court.

Refai Arefin joined the Firm as a Law Clerk in 2008 and became an Associate after passing the Connecticut Bar in 2010.  He concentrates in the areas of commercial law, personal injury and liquor liability.  Refai has developed a niche practice in the area of Islamic Wills and Estate planning and presents seminars on this topic to the Islamic community.

Melissa Holmes  joined the Firm is 2011, bringing her experience as a criminal clerk for the Hartford Superior Court.  Melissa concentrates her practice on criminal defense, insurance litigation, liquor liability and personal injury.
