Attorney Allen's litigation practice concentrates in the areas of personal injury, liquor liability, family law, probate, and real estate. His litigation experience includes arbitrating, mediating and trying civil and family disputes. In addition to his litigation practice, Attorney Allen handles residential and commercial real estate transactions, foreclosure actions, and debt consolidation. He practices before the state probate courts handling estate, conservator, guardian and children's matters. Attorney Allen has completed the State of Connecticut Guardian ad Litem and Attorney for the Minor Child training and certification program. He is also on the Panel of Attorneys in Probate Matters for the Districts of Cheshire-Southington, East Haven-North Haven, Hamden-Bethany, Madison-Guildford, Middletown, Niantic Regional, Saybrook, New Haven, Wallingford, and West Haven.
While at Quinnipiac University School of Law, Attorney Allen competed on the University Mock Trial team and was awarded for his distinguished academic achievement. He is a frequent lecturer on living wills, last will and testaments, and liquor liability. Attorney Allen is also a mentor with the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association for young attorneys.
